Rumsey Young
Chair
Contact Rumsey Young Term Ends: 09/30/2013

Rumsey became a full time resident of Big Sky in 2004 after retiring from 32 years of flying as Captain with American Airlines.  He is active in local volunteer work and helps organize the Big Sky Hikers every summer.  In winter, he serves as a Big Sky Resort Mountain host and plays with the Big Sky Striders.  Rumsey feels the key to weathering the present economic downturn is consistent, savvy management and close monitoring of BSOA’s finances.  He serves on the Executive, Legal, and Finance Committees.

Mitch Furr
Director
Contact Mitch Furr Term Ends: 09/30/2012

As a Big Sky resident and condominium owner, Mitch is concerned about the continued growth in Big Sky without a governing body in place. She has witnessed the difficulty of achieving this transition and thinks her education as well as her understanding of the community is beneficial to the Board. She is very interested in the expansion of our trails and parks and enjoys being involved in the park project. She currently serves on the Big Sky Architectural and Nominating Committees.

Don Loyd

Contact Don Loyd Term Ends: 09/30/2014

It is Don’s desire to foster responsible growth for the Big Sky area, both by preserving the unique community we enjoy as development occurs and by adding facilities that will enhance our quality of life.  Don presently lives in a home in the Cascade Subdivision in Mountain Village.
