Executive Director: Mary Jane McGarity (maryjane@bigskyoa.org) - Mary Jane McGarity, a Montana native joined the BSOA staff as its Executive Director in the fall of 2004. Prior to joining the BSOA, Mary Jane spent twenty years as a consulting engineer in Seattle, working primarily for industry in the air quality field. In her free time, Mary Jane, her husband and two children enjoy skiing, hiking and floating the rivers in Big Sky and the surrounding areas. Mary Jane's background in grant writing and project management are an asset to the BSOA team in its continued effort to maintain its community assets.
Architectural Support/Covenant Compliance: Michele Geppert (michele@bigskyoa.org) - Michele Geppert became a part of the BSOA in October 2008. Prior to that, she worked at Big Sky Resort for three years as the Executive Assistant for Outside Condominiums, and is currently working towards her undergraduate degree from Montana State University in Business Management.
While growing up, Michele learned how to ski at Resorts in Colorado and Washington State which has given her a true love for the mountains. Michele spends her free time snowboarding, hiking and fishing on the Madison and Gallatin Rivers. Her previous position with Big Sky Resort has given her a lot of Big Sky condo owner interaction which will be valuable for her new role here at the BSOA. Staff Attorney: Mindy Nowakowski (mindy@bigskyoa.org) - Mindy Nowakowski, joined the BSOA in the fall of 2005. She handles convenant compliance and is project manager for the BSOA. Since visiting the Big Sky area for more than fifteen years, Mindy and her husband moved back to Big Sky permanently in 2001. Mindy has practiced law in Big Sky since 2001, specializing in real estate, land use, business and construction law. She is a graduate of the University of Florida with a certificate in Environmental and Land Use Law.
Accountant: Krista Mach (krista@bigskyoa.org) - Long time local Krista Mach, handles all of the accounting and books for the BSOA. Krista is also an active local participating in softball and community volunteer positions. Please feel free to contact Krista with any concerns you may have with your bill.
Office Administrator: Robin Hicks(robin@bigskyoa.org) An Alabama native, has been living and working in Southwestern Montana for the past 17 years and has lived in Big Sky since 2002. Robin joined the BSOA in June 2008. She handles all aspects of office management as well as assisting homeowners with their concerns and questions about the area. Robin strives to ensure that the owner experience at Big Sky Owners Association is the gold standard in service.
