BSAC Team
BSOA Architectural Review » Overview » BSAC Team
The BSAC consists of seven members: three appointed by Big Sky Resort (original Big Sky developer); two BSOA Board of Directors (who are elected by the Membership and appointed to the BSAC by the Board of Directors); and two additional members elected by the Membership. The BSAC is given its authority through the Covenants as well as the BSOA Bylaws and other Governing Documents. The BSAC exists to provide Owners guidance and approval for quality and thoughtful design and construction of property improvements in the BSOA.
Brian has led the BSAC for over 18 years. When he is not busy in his role as Director of Real Estate and Development for Big Sky Resort, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons skiing, hunting, and hiking in the mountains of Montana. Brian has also played a key role in many other community programs and organizations including design and development of the Big Sky Community Park, Big Sky Ski Team, and development, funding, and construction of the Big Sky Chapel.
Pat Dillon is the newest committee member with the BSAC. Pat has lived over twenty years in Big Sky, and has seen much growth and development in that time. Pat and his wife, Barbara, both own and operate small businesses and call Big Sky home, year round.
Sharon was elected to the BSOA Board of Directors in 2010 and was appointed to the BSAC by the BSOA Board. As President of Douglas Development in California, Sharon brings practical knowledge and experience in the realm of architectural review and governmental regulations. With a Ph.D. in international relations, Sharon travels all over the world, but Big Sky remains her home-away-from-home. Sharon practices yoga regularly, skis a few hours every day, and is passionate about the environment -- particularly in Big Sky and the Greater Yellowstone region.
Kenny considers it a privilege and responsibility as a member of the BSOA to help guide development of the Big Sky community. Elected by the membership of the BSOA, Kenny has served on the BSAC for two years and has made it his goal to provide members with reasonable, fair and equitable review of projects in a timely manner while upholding the design standards as defined by the BSOA Design Regulations. Kenny vacationed in Big Sky for over 12 years before making the move to full time local 4 years ago. Kenny is Director of Residential Services for Yellowstone Club, and gets outside as often as possible to ski, hike, mountain bike, and organize tailgate parties for the Hillbilly Huckers softball team who rule the fields every summer at the Big Sky Community Park.
As a Big Sky resident and condominium owner for over a decade, Mitch is concerned about growth in Big Sky without a guiding governing body in place. Mitch has served the BSOA as a Board Director for over six years and was appointed to the BSAC by the Board two years ago. As a Broker for ERA Landmark representing clients and buyers throughout Gallatin County, Mitch brings terrific perspective to the BSAC with regards to property values and street-aesthetic. She is an avid skier and enjoys a trip or two each year to visit her parents in Florida. Mitch has served the greater Big Sky community in many ways including leading the Big Sky Community Corporation Park Design and Development team and active involvement in Rotary.
Stacy was born and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut. After the birth of her third child in 1993, Stacy and her husband Eric relocated to Big Sky to raise their young family in the outdoor western lifestyle they enjoyed. Stacy has extensive experience with real estate sales and currently works as a Broker for Prudential of Montana. She has served on the BSAC for the last three years as an elected representative of the membership and enjoys working to ensure that development of the BSOA is guided to enhance and preserve property values. Stacy’s record of community service includes the Ophir School Council where her children attended elementary school. She is currently on the National Board of the Big Sky Institute and has successfully developed donors to fund development of science programming in conjunction with MSU for the Big Sky community and school.
